HMT Welcomes Clayton Burdick as Service Manager

HMT Machine Tools, Inc. is proud to welcome Clayton Burdick to our team as our new Service Manager. With decades of hands-on experience in manufacturing and machine tool service, Clayton brings a depth of knowledge and leadership that will directly benefit our customers and service operations.

Clayton joins HMT with 25 years of experience in saw blade and cutting tool service and manufacturing, giving him a deep understanding of tooling performance, precision requirements, and the real-world challenges faced on the shop floor. This extensive background allows him to approach service not just from a repair standpoint, but from a production-minded perspective—focused on efficiency, accuracy, and long-term reliability.

In addition to his manufacturing expertise, Clayton brings 8 years of machine tool repair experience, working directly with equipment to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure machines are operating at peak performance. This combination of manufacturing insight and technical service experience makes him uniquely qualified to lead HMT’s service department.

As Service Manager, Clayton will oversee service operations, support our technicians, and work closely with customers to ensure timely, effective solutions. His practical, hands-on background allows him to understand customer concerns quickly and recommend service strategies that minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
