Connecting with the Saw Filing Community

From May 1–3, 2025, HMT Machine Tools joined industry professionals at the Southeastern Saw Filers Education Association (SESFEA) Annual Meeting, held at the Vidalia Community Center in Vidalia, GA. The event brought together saw filers, equipment suppliers, and primary woodworking experts for a weekend of education, collaboration, and networking.

We were proud to sponsor a hole in the event’s annual golf tournament—giving us the perfect chance to mix business with a little fun on the green. Whether attendees were there for the technical discussions, the tee time, or both, it was a great environment for building relationships and sharing ideas.

Industry Insights and Facility Tour

A highlight of the event was the facility tour hosted by Beasley Forest Products. This gave attendees an up-close look at advanced operations and the expertise that drives excellence in the woodworking industry. We’re grateful to Beasley for their hospitality and for opening their doors to the SESFEA community.

On the Green with Industry Friends

The golf tournament added an extra layer of camaraderie to the weekend. We especially enjoyed spending time on the course with our friends from Union Grove Saw and Knife, LLC, whose company and sportsmanship made for a memorable round.
