HMT is happy to sponsor the Lowcountry Crush 12U Travel Baseball team.  The recent golf tournament was held to aid in the teams effort to travel to Orlando, FL.  They were invited to participate in the Disney Invitational Baseball Tournament at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. The tournament raised over $10,000 for the team. Good luck in Florida, Lowcountry Crush!

In August, Loroch unveiled its newest sharpening machine - the PowerStar 850. HMT was present for its first two demo's in North America: The International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta, GA, and the International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago, IL. This month saw the hiring of our newest employee, Drew Knoppe. Drew graduated from the College of Charleston in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration. He was the winner of the Brinson Award for entrepreneurial leadership. Drew is married, has three children, and resides in Summerville.  He is responsible for marketing, advertising, online / social content, and sales. HMT is happy to add another face to our continued effort of customer satisfaction.

HMT is proud to sponsor The Puppies of the the Sumerville Girls Softball League. The Puppies took second place this year in their 8U league with a 12-2 record. Way to go girls! Congratulations from all of us here at HMT.
