In August, Loroch unveiled its newest sharpening machine - the PowerStar 850. HMT was present for its first two demo's in North America: The International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta, GA, and the International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago, IL. We are proud to offer this state-of-the-art machine to our customers. For an in-depth look at the PowerStar's production capabilities and detailed specifications, click the picture below. This month saw the hiring of our newest employee, Drew Knoppe. Drew graduated from the College of Charleston in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration. He was the winner of the Brinson Award for entrepreneurial leadership. Drew is married, has three children, and resides in Summerville.  He is responsible for marketing, advertising, online / social content, and sales. HMT is happy to add another face to our continued effort of customer satisfaction.

HMT is proud to sponsor The Puppies of the the Sumerville Girls Softball League. The Puppies took second place this year in their 8U league with a 12-2 record. Way to go girls! Congratulations from all of us here at HMT.  

HMT is happy to partner with the Legend Oaks Homeowners Association, a community of over 600 residences in Summerville, South Carolina. We have set up an aluminum can recycling center, with 100% of the proceeds of the aluminum going to the Summerville Fire Department in order to support local burn victims.
